Andres Summary

Each group in these past few weeks has shown amazing presentations and spoke well during each speech. This classroom should always represent your hard work and speech skills to show off what you learn from each presentation while also practicing how to speak to your classmates as well.

Group 1 which started things off with chapters 1-4 had much information about preparations, so this is mostly the basics and how you would begin. The key points that Group 1 used in their presentations were about how to begin a presentation in a relaxing way so that when it comes time to present you would be confident in your skills and be more calmer presenting to the audience. Group 1 used many pictures so that the audience would be more interested in what the presenter is saying rather than reading the slides. The group also had a great communication among presenting with each member making sure they would be more organized of the topics and chapters that was shown. Group 1 did an amazing job presenting, and I for one who was part of Group 1 we each did our part well with finishing up our slides ready to present.

Group 2 continues chapters 5-9 with many points of gather much important information for the audience to be more aware of their presentations. The many points of how one should deliver the speech with the words and information they choose to say is all very important. The many usage of pictures and SmartArt’s of their presentation gave them a unique organization while still delivering their information about the presentation. One of their memorable slides was the video with Barack Obama, which really does capture the eyes of the audience with his speech and explaining more of the message that was provided. Group 2 did a great job with their slides and speech that delivered the message well with the information that was provided to the audience.

Group 3 the final group to present had chapters 10-12 with the addition of the appendix. Their group talked about how there are multiple ways of presenting a presentation and giving off a message and speech that were part of their chapters. Group 3 had an interesting way of keeping the audience interested and having their eyes glued to their monitors with that video. That video really had caught my attention, and I am sure it did capture the attention for many others in addition for being the most memorable in that presentation. The appendix at the end also had many interesting points and information of working together as a group similarly to how we all worked together as a group for the presentation. Overall, I say Group 3 did an amazing job finishing up the book with the remaining chapters that they presented.

Everyone had a unique way of showing their presentation and speech skills which everyone did a wonderful job at. Each group shown their incredible hard work and efforts which is what this class is really all about and everything deserves credit with their calm and memorable presentations.

Group 1 Informative Speech Blog Amanda Melendez

Group 3 started off their presentations by talking about the future of social media. They focused on the negative and positive effects of social media. They correlated mental health issues, cyber bullying, and sexting to social media's negative attributes. They also associated social media's positive attributes to be creativity, learning opportunities, and socialization. They also highlighted that social content creators have been the new career path for many people. Unfortunately criminals have access to your personal information. Amanda Melendez Group Presentation Overview

  All of the group presentations were splendid. I was the leader of Group 1. Amber was the technical person of the group. This group project was an insightful opportunity. We were able to work together and learn from each other's ideas. Our group went over   how to prepare for a speech. We spoke about the importance of reducing your fears and maintaining focus when giving a speech. Public Speaking is about engaging your creative thinking skills and practicing active listening.
