 Group Presentation Reflection

Group 1

The first group to present was given the task of going over chapters 1-4 and creating a presentation to teach the class. This was the group that I was placed in, we all divided the chapters amongst each other and started getting to work. Our presentation ended up having roughly 24 slides, all summarizing chapters 1-4. I believe that my group worked well together and everyone did a good job in completing their presentation. We all had visual aids in order to keep our audience engaged and aware. We also all turned on all cameras which is great to keep interaction with the class. The only thing that I think my group could improve on is making our presentations a little longer. This could be done by adding videos or by creating more ways of being interactive with the class. We had about 20 minutes left in the class after our presentation and I feel like we could have extended our presentation a bit to fit that gap.

Group 2

The next group to present was given chapters 5-9, their presentation was time effective and flowed perfectly. They spoke upon very important topics such as information gathering for presentation purposes along with giving tips and tricks on how to communicate with your audience during any presentation. Group two did an amazing job at keeping the class interested in the presentation with their visuals and videos. They added a video of former president Barrack Obama, this video was shown to highlight the ways to give an effective speech. President Obama is a great example of this as he has lots of experience with presenting, he follows all the correct guidelines in order to effectively present his information.

Group 3

The last group to present this week was group 3, they were in charge of presenting the last few chapters of the book which are 10-12 also including the appendix. Their presentation was based on different styles of visual presentation and also on different ways for someone to give a presentation. Group 3 overall did a good job relaying their information to the class, the only issue seemed to be is that they didn't effectively time out their presentation, so they happened to go over by a couple minutes. That's fine though, there is always time to practice for the next presentation.
