Informative Speech

As the class continue we have learn a bunch of new things that helped us a lot to develop our way to communicate with the world. This class has also allowed us to created a link with our way of thinking and our perspective, thanks to it we are allowed to express ourselves and give opinions. In the first presentation that we had many of of us were nervous and our thoughts were not clear enough to make a good argument, not all of us of course, but the majority were. With time it helped us practice and gain more experience. with the second informative project they had more confident in themselves and they knew how to handle the situation.

Group 1 made a speech about how music help us in our live and how it liberate us mentally and physical ways that help us created path with ourselves. Also music helps forget about our stress and everything that bother us in that moment. Another thing that they talk about was how music help with daily routine and having more activity and make us do everything with a better humor. Group one gave some example with some videos and picture that gave us an idea of what they were talking about.

Group 2 did a fantastic presentation by giving us some information about how the space technology has advance in this decade and also giving us detail of what are we expecting in for the next few years. They share videos and picture to show us the evolution that we have done so far and what type of technology we have today. Another thing that they talk about is what astronaut need in order to prepare themselves for any operation. This group created good way to grab the audience attention and they work great in team.

Group 3 work was about the impact and influence in good and bad ways about social media, what they basically did was a pro and contra of our most new technology and way of communicate in today daily life. This group gave us an idea of how to use everything in better terms, also the social media is using to do some bad action and what of the thing that people do is the cyber bullying and way to do some frauds. Social media what brought us in this time is more easiness to communicate with people around the world.

Group 3 started off their presentations by talking about the future of social media. They focused on the negative and positive effects of social media. They correlated mental health issues, cyber bullying, and sexting to social media's negative attributes. They also associated social media's positive attributes to be creativity, learning opportunities, and socialization. They also highlighted that social content creators have been the new career path for many people. Unfortunately criminals have access to your personal information. Amanda Melendez Group Presentation Overview

  All of the group presentations were splendid. I was the leader of Group 1. Amber was the technical person of the group. This group project was an insightful opportunity. We were able to work together and learn from each other's ideas. Our group went over   how to prepare for a speech. We spoke about the importance of reducing your fears and maintaining focus when giving a speech. Public Speaking is about engaging your creative thinking skills and practicing active listening.
