Second blog Presentations

In our first presentation all groups talked about how to give a good presentation, the points to take into account, they to gain the public attention, etc. This class has been a very good instrument for us to learn how to give good speeches, and we have really learned how to feel more comfortable speaking in public. We took all the information we learned on the first presentation and we put it into practice, and I think all groups did it very well. In this presentation all groups were more comfortable, we had more experience on how to present and we felt well talking with our classmates. 

Group 1 presented about the physical and psychological effects that music brings to our lives. They started by explaining how music has evolved, they also explained how different genres affect mood, they also shared how music can help people with mental health, for example people with dementia. They also talked about how music can increase activity while working out, and also shared the purpose of music. This group work very work together and we feel very comfortable working together. They shared a video and expose their topics in a very interesting way. We could learn in a very easy way the information they shared on their presentation.

Group 2 presented about the advancement in space technology. This group also did a very good job. They talked about the training needed by astronauts and the tech they need. They talked about the robot landing in Mars, and they show a video about this amazing event. They spoke about the use of the technology in space project. They made a very good and interesting presentation. They explained their topics very well. They also showed videos showing what they were talking about. This group also show a very good job working in their team. They expressed very well and made their topics very interesting. It was very informative the information given by this group. We really learn from this presentation. 

Group 3 was actually the first to present. They talked about social media. They explained the negative and positive effect of social media. They explained how vulnerable people can be on the internet and how exposed we are to criminals how can access to our personal information.  They also talked about cyber bulling, about the mental issues that can be related to this situation. This group also talked about sexting on social media. They also talked about the positive part that social media have such as learning opportunities and socialization. They did a very good presentation and shared very interesting information that is related to our actuality, because due to the situation we are living today, social media has been the most present part in our lives, our way to communicate with our love’s ones, our way to study, and our principal method of entertainment. The information given by this group is very useful, and it is present in our lives, they made a very good job, and an interesting presentation.
